BfE is run by a global community of purpose-driven professionals and students. As a non-profit established in 2015, we expanded rapidly to operate from five student chapters and developed a client base spanning over 30 countries. We collaborate alongside a growing network of over 200 professional mentors who provide strategic guidance to chapter teams and assistance to startups. In 2020, we welcomed the Vancouver Chapter to the BfE network, our newest addition. Situated in the centre of Canada’s most ethnically and linguistically diverse city, the Vancouver team plays an essential role in providing advisory services to social entrepreneurs in BfE's Incubation Programme.
The team brings diverse business backgrounds to jumpstart BfE's flagship pro bono programme in Canada, helping early-stage businesses in the developing world with existing revenue and a clear mission to create social impact for their beneficiaries. As of 2023, the chapter has completed three full engagement cycles.
